Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Aperça LLC (“we”) handles information for BlockMe MotherFocus.
Information we process
When you create an account, we store your name, email address, password hash, settings, block lists, whitelist entries, API-key metadata, and usage data that you choose to sync. We do not store plaintext passwords or plaintext API keys.
How we use information
We use data to provide account access, sync settings, display analytics, secure the service, deliver password resets, and respond to support. We do not sell personal information or use browsing history for advertising.
Extension and cloud sync
The extension historically stored information locally. Cloud data is processed only when you connect an account or API key and sync. Website usage can reveal interests and habits; sync it only if you want cloud analytics.
Retention and deletion
Usage remains until you clear it. Revoked API-key metadata may be retained for security records. You may request account deletion through support; backups age out under our operational retention schedule.
Service providers and security
We use hosting, database, and transactional-email providers to operate the service. We apply access controls, encrypted transport, hashed credentials, and secure cookies, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can edit block lists, revoke keys, clear synced usage, and request access, correction, export, or deletion. Depending on your location, additional privacy rights may apply.
